Help Signing In To DataZone

Learn how to sign in to your DataZone district account and what to do if you can't.

DataZone supports Single Sign-On and uses your existing school district account. Therefore, you must sign in with your district-issued username and password.

Your district-issued username is typically the left part of your district email address, before the at sign (@). For example, the username for the email address jdoe@mydistrict.edu would be jdoe.


How to Navigate the Sign-In Page

  • Username: (your DISTRICT user name)

  • Password: (your DISTRICT password)

  • District: Make sure to select YOUR DISTRICT from the dropdown menu

  • Read the security notice, check "I agree" and click Sign In.

Forgot Your Username or Password

If you have forgotten your username or password or your username/password is not working:

  1. Contact your district administrator (your district IT/help desk). All DataZone usernames and passwords are based on your district-issued credentials. The DataZone team is unable to provide you with your username or reset your password.

  2. If your district administrator is unable to determine the login issue, email our team.

Username/password combination not valid

If you receive a message stating "The username and password combination is not valid":

  1. Make sure that you have not made a typo.

  2. Passwords are case sensitive so check if CAPS LOCK is on.

  3. Try your username (left part of your email address) and password again.

  4. Contact your district administrator, IT or help desk. The DataZone team is unable to provide you with your username or reset your password.

  5. If you are still unable to resolve your issue, email our team.

Do I have to sign in every time I use DataZone? Why can't it just save my information?

We take student data privacy seriously, and therefore, require that users review and agree to the privacy notice each time they sign in.
